2LT David Baird Finch was KIA on 13 November ’44 at Leyte, in the Philippines.

Capt. Donald Walker Chess, MD was KIA on Ie Shima 16 April 45, near Okinawa. Iconic WWII historian/writer Ernie Pyle was also KIA on Ie Shima.

Our eventual intention is to “push-pin” the location of all AWON Father and loved one KIAs ~ within their ETO or PTO ~ all over the world.
