The map above shows the KIA locations of the fathers of several members. Two pilots and ten U.S. Army.

KIA in Germany were 2LT Johnson, PVT Bremer, 1LT Brooks, S/SGT Zuccarella, Cpt Holiday, 1LT Rustand, and SGT Linne . . . among many others.

KIA in France were CPL Elliott, KIA on Omaha Beach on D-Day ~ and 2LT McCleary, Jr., a pilot who went down near Chateaudun . . . among many others.

KIA in Belgium were 1LT Hollis, KIA on 15 September ’44 and 1LT Peirson, KIA on Christmas Day . . . among many others.

Our Founder’s Father, PVT Sydney Worthington Bennett was KIA 19 April of ’45, near Mongiorgio, Italy

Our eventual intention is to “push-pin” the location of all AWON Father and loved one KIAs ~ within their ETO or PTO ~ all over the world.
