AWON maintains a public page and a Members-only Group.
There is a public page which can be seen by anyone to give AWON more visibility. There is a private page in which members can post photographs and stories relevant to AWON’s mission of honoring our fathers. Because it is private it is a very safe and warm environment. The private group is for orphans, family members, and supporting members. Since this is a closed, private group no one can see postings except members of the group. A member can share anything he or she wants about feelings regarding loosing your honored loved one without any fear, because all members have experienced those same feelings or knows someone who has. It is a safe and warm group. The group is maintained by an experienced AWON Facebook moderator who makes sure that members contribute only appropriate content and is responsible for seeing that no controversial subjects are posted such as about religion or politics. We ask that you first become a member of AWON before asking to join the Facebook group. It helps to support our mission financially. It is another way to make friends and find other members perhaps near you. To join, simply ask to do so and the moderator will let you join the group after AWON membership is verified. Click Here!
