The Awarder is finally Awarded.

Walt Linne was actually stunned when this happened at the conference.

Through all these years, Walt has been the one to award us (sometimes more than once) for exemplary efforts from AWON Members to honor or remember our dads.

So it was about time ~ long PAST time ~ that Walt finally got recognized ~ not just for all of his awarding ~ but for so much of what he’s done over the years to be the glue that’s kept AWON together through thick & thin ~ not just to keep the lights on, but to advance the many missions of AWON, even in the face of adversity.

It was only fitting that Lorin McCleary, AWON’s first Chairman ~ be the one to deliver the surprise.

Ann would definitely approve!
