Our Ambitions

Our Ambitions for AWON: subjects for discussion:

Before we meet in 2022, and certainly before we debut the website (at the original address), we should discuss, decide, and express our ambitions, aspirations, goals and INTENT for AWON. Like what we want to DO (which could be to grow the Membership) – though it may be better to describe how we hope to advance and improve our infrastructure. Or, it could be something a little loftier, like embedding our Dads (via the Honor Roll) into WWII Museums around the world. Again, all up for discussion. But I think we should be brash – and actually come out and SAY at least something about of what we intend to DO.

What we may wish to describe as part of our broader aspirations is to pursue relationships with Gold Star community organizations that mirror or are substantially compatible with AWON objectives . . . possibly including these three organizations . . . based on our pre-conference discussions ~ but for whom we need LEADERS.
