Hello all,
My great uncle died on the 27th of August, 1944. He was in the 119th as infantry. I've always been told he was killed on a beach landing, but that just doesn't add up... does anyone have any insight on where he fought and died on this day? It's really bothering me and no one in the family seems to have any facts other than the day he died. Thank you so much! |
