My father John Riley Brown was KIA March 9, 1945 in Luzon, Manila in the Antipolo Hills. He was in the 12th Cavalry. He attended his Basic Training at Camp Roberts in July of 1944. He was last home on furlough the end of December that year before leaving January 11, 1945 on the Troop Ship headed for the Philippines. If anyone out there may have known my dad at Basic Training at Camp Roberts or on the Troop Ship please contact me. He was from Victor, Montana and is now Buried at Ft. Snelling in Minneapolis.
Thank You all Veterans and May God Bless the World.
