I am looking for anyone who might have known my father, Melvin R. Lowery, when he was stationed, with U.S. Navy, in Australia during WWII

Contact ALMA which is the Adoptees Liberation Movement Association. They have registries and can help you to search with perhaps a "search buddy" in Germany too. Good luck. I found my son and we had our first hug when he was 25 years old.

How can I find anyone who may have personally known my Dad who was a cook in the army in France during WWII??? Also, how could I find out if there is anyone seeking an American soldier who may have fathered a child during that war??

How can a ww2 veteran finally take responsibilty for a child he fathered during the war in Germany? My uncle wants to find his daughter (whom he never saw) born in Manheim on 4/9/46. If anybody has any ideas please write. Thanks!
