AWON Founder Annie Mix
stops to see Nancy Sue Johnson in Missoula.
Having completed her mission
at the Capitol in the final
development and dedication of the National WWII Memorial,
Ann made her traditional stop just outside Missoula on her
way back to Moses Lake, Washington. Nancy Sue met her at the
Cracker Barrel, where they spent two plus hours visiting, sharing a
meal and of course talking about AWON and all of us who have found
each other because of AWON. If anyone is ever passing through
Missoula, Montana on I-90, you can be assured that Nancy Sue
will meet you at the Cracker Barrel or the Truck Stop.
Nancy Sue bought Annie a tube
of Neccos and they happily rocked and ate
before saying goodbye. Ann said she hadn't seen any Neccos for years.
Annie and her family get ready to depart.
Ann and Nancy Sue say farewell as Ann resumes her journey west.
Those who have been around awhile will know that this brings Ann full circle,
as she made a similar stop in Missoula to visit with Nancy Sue in 1999,
on her way to take the presence of AWON East to Washington, D.C.
