This is the date on the back of a picture given to my grandmother from Hrista's mother. It is my understanding my father was contacted when you were 16 or so and he did not want to communicate. Your 4 brothers and 4 sisters would like very much to be in contact and meet you. Please contact me at Marlene@britelitegas.com.

My mum is looking for her biological dad or his children. Between the years of 1941 -1946 in LEEDS Yorkshire he had a relationship with my nana Agnes, (also known as tess, Nessy) Hartley nee Shields.
Her husband Edric Hartley had died in a motorbike crash in 1941. My nana and the serviceman had 2 children Andrew Cran Hartley born May 1943 and Alison Margaret Hartley September 1945 on nanas deathbed she told mum his name but she cannot remember. By all accounts he had twins back home, so I would presume they are in their 70s. Perhaps they have children grandchildren also searching.

My husband Tim Eustace was born in Sept 1945 and is searching for his biological father who was an American GI stationed in Penryn, Cornwall, England in 1944/45. We believe he was in the US Navy and called Joe or Joey. He supplied the food for Tim's aunt's wedding at the Kings Arms Hotel in August 1944. This made us think he may have been in the Supply Corps. From rumours we believe he may have been an officer or a Captain.

His mother was called Queenie Eustace (photo attached) and was the Landlady of The Kings Arms Hotel in Penryn. She would have been 30 in 1944 and already had one son. The Kings Arms was the local bar and it was used by hundreds of troops in the war.

My father, Gerald (Gerry) Ayotte, who lived in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, serviced in the UK from 1939 to 1945 (a few months before war ended).

When he came home, his wife Doris, told us that he had a picture of a woman and a small boy that she said looked just like Gerry when he was younger. We often wondered if he fathered children when he was overseas.

If this sounds familiar or if you know anything about this situation, please email us.

I am desperately trying to contact my half brother and two sisters. Their names are Gilbert Bush Jnr, Mary and Peggy-Ann.

They were last heard of in Pennsylvania and I would love them to contact me.

My father's name was Gilbert M Bush and his family came from Trenton, New Jersey. He died in Germany on 8th May, 1945 and was attached to 79th Infantry Division.
