The Florence American Military Cemetery is a beautiful resting place for many AWON members Dad's. I visited there in September, 2000 and found myself feeling at home with so many of our Fathers.

A member of the staff told me that Leonardo D'Vinci and Machiavelli lived right up the hill from the cemetery grounds. Pretty exclusive neighborhood, huh?
