The United States Marine Corps Museum at the Washington Navy Yard has WWII Casualty Reports that provide name, rank, serial number, unit down to company and circumstances of death. Contact the Marine Coprs Historical Center; Building 58. Washington Navy Yard: Washington, DC 20374-5040.
