Board Meeting . . . Thursday evening, May 27, 2004 • JW Marriott

Concurrent with Registration, the AWON Board met on Thursday evening (5/27/04)
before the first conference day – to synchronize watches and final details
on a long list of conference events both on and off campus.

Around the table are Board President Patricia Gaffney-Kindig, Secretary Judi Hollis Kramer,
Conference Chair Walt Linne, Founder Ann Bennett Mix, Treasurer Bill Chiodo,
Conference M.C. Bob Meek (hiding), Video Producer Terry Boettcher, Wall of Honor Chair
Rondy Elliott, Grandchild PR Coordinator Kathy Lupton, and Vice President, Doni Troglio.
Webguy & List Manager Rik Peirson is behind the camera. Standing is Adam Shapiro
of Widmeyer Communications (one of the keys to our conference's success),
and with her back to us is AWON D.C. Liaison Phyllis Epstein Louis.

 

Staying around to put covers into video sleeves of "We Speak Their Names"
are Video Producer Terry Boettcher, Dianna Peirson, Kathy Le Comte Lupton,
Rondy Elliott (hidden), Bob Meek, President Patricia Gaffney Kindig, and Mike Kindig.

 

Rondy stays to put the nametags in sleeves. Rik and Dianna produced
the VIP and Veterans Nametags from Walt's lists and the crew below
helped Rondy put them all together.

 

The "real" workers are AWON members Lynne Lecrone, Donna Kulp Pressley, Janice Buterbaugh,
Board Member (and Grandchild) Kathy Le Comte Lupton, Carol Downs Brooks,
Conference Chair Walt Linne and Conference MC Bob Meek.

 

Registration continues . . .as the Miller family joins in on the steps of the JW Marriott: Chris Harbison,
AWONer Joan Fagley Miller; Kriss Miller, Calvin Fagley, and Reni Fagley.
