WWII Memorial • On the Mall

 

Three generations remember 2LT Donald S. Morrison: Granddaughter
Wendy James, her Grandmother (and a new member of Gold Star Wives)
Bernita Morrison Shoemake, and her Mother, AWON Vice President Doni Troglio.

 

Maddie and her Granddad, Terry Boettcher. Great Granddaughter
and son of SGT Donald E. Boettcher, of Iowa.

 

Members Dolores "Kay" Donley, daughter of PVT Paul Edward Donley
and Mary Davidson Newman, daughter of PVT John Francis Davidson,
with Mary's daughter, Lisa Newman Daniel and Kay's guest,
Tori Bevins at the Illinois pillar. All four were born in Illinois.

 

Chickie led the effort to raise and unite AWON Members' contributions of $41,530.95
for the Memorial. Chickie Shields Berry for all of us . . . we'll never forget.

Four generations of the Miller family pay tribute to S/C Calvin F. Fagley, Sunday night,
at the Memorial. The family members include, grandson, Kriss Miller, daughter, Joan Fagley Miller,
great granddaughter Chelsea Miller and Joan's mother, Christine Harbison.
