These mementos were left in front of the wall of stars after the candlelight service.
The star in the middle holds a photo of Paul Bremer's father. In the upper
left is a picture of LT(jg) James Bruton Nelson, father of Patricia Nelson Fitch.

The beginning of the End.
Many remembrances are left in the Normandy area of the Memorial.

The largest battle ever fought by Americans also draws many remembrances.

Kilroy was everywhere in World War II. He's on the Memorial, too.
Dave Stanek found him hiding behind the Pacific tower.

Kilroy was here with our Dads on the Memorial, too. As he should be.

The top shot is thanks to Sharon Edwards. The second one is thanks to Pat (in Phoenix) Fabri.
The third and fourth shots are thanks to Paul Bremer. The fifth is thanks to Pat Fabri.
The fourth picture is from Rik, and the Kilroy shots are with thanks to Dave Stanek.
