At the Banquet, the Missing Man Table represents all our Fathers.
The table cloth
is white - symbolizing the purity of our father's call to duty.
The red rose - reminding us of our father's families and loved ones.
The slice of lemon - reminding us of our father's bitter fate.
A pinch of salt - symbolizing our tears as we remember.
The inverted glass - reminding us that our fathers cannot toast with us tonight.
The empty chair - reminding us that our fathers are not here.
Thanks to the Conference Committee for seeing to all the details.
The Colors were presented by The Branson Veterans Task Force.
