May 6, 2001 -- AWONers from NC, SC, & TN traveled far to a luncheon at the Fort Bragg Officers Club in Fayetteville, NC.

Bob Meek arranged for the site, Rondy Elliott organized the meeting and led a sharing circle, and Jack Jangston reported on his research of battles in the Huertgen Forest. We were pleased to be joined by Bob's wife, Nancy, and two of our grandchildren.
